"I got the Skincando moisturizer and the Combat Ready Balm from my friend, who runs Skincando. I decided to write my review which is based upon my experience with both creams.
The Skincando moisturizer is very emollient. You rub a very small amount
between your fingers and apply. My face became greasy at first and it took
several minutes for the cream to be absorbed. After that, my skin felt soft
and looked radiant, and remained so for the rest of the day. I like the
moisturizer a lot because my skin has been very dry lately (indoor heating,
cold air outside) and this cream worked well for me. Also, I did not have an
allergic reaction which is what I was really afraid of (I have sensitive
skin).
The Combat Ready Balm is even more emollient and is supposed to help with scars, insect bites, sunburn, etc. It's a good cream for VERY dry patchy skin. I would compare this balm to La Mer. I cannot say whether it helps sunburn and insect bites."
